As our train on Main 1 finally appeared, it was a loaded coal drag that was roaring up the line.. As our very first 4 pack of SD40E’s on a train appeared, we get a glimpse of the newly casted K5LA horn. Then SD40E’s 6308, 6310, 6306, and finally, 63oo pull hard on the front end of the train. Then as the Black Gold continues past the big crowd at Cresson watching the train pass, we anxiously await the helpers to come roaring out of the valley of trees and into Cresson. Where Sd40-2′s 3351 ( with its ditch lights flashing! ) and 3344 come by in Notch 8 running. I also can say that it was very much a treat to see such action like this.. The song is based on the children’s book written by Dr. Seuss and first published in 1971. This video was adapted from Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, a 2012 American computer-animated 3D musical comedy film based on Dr. Seuss’ children’s book of the same name. It was produced by Illumination Entertainment and was released by Universal Pictures on March 2, 2012, what would have been the 108th birthday of Seuss, who died at age 87 in the year 1991. In the movie, Ted Wiggins (Zac Efron), an idealistic 12-year-old boy, lives in “Thneed-Ville”, a walled city that, aside from the citizens, is completely, perfectly, artificial: everything is made of plastic, metal, or synthetics. Suada Dilberovic (1968-1992) was the first Bosniak civilian to be killed in the Serbian three-year siege of Sarajevo. She was a 23 year old medical student who peacefully demonstrated against the Serb-aggressor siege of Sarajevo, when she was shoot to death on the vrbanja bridge by a serbian army-sniper. On the weekend of April 4th 1992, a mere five weeks after Bosnia-Hercegovina declared independence from Yugoslavia following a unanimous public referendum, Bosnian Serb military units began erecting barricades around Sarajevo, hoping to choke its residents off from the outside world. Upset by the actions of the Serb aggressors and the specter of war in their country, thousands of Sarajevans took to the streets on Sunday morning in a peace protest that started in the suburb of Dobrinja. As the crowd made its way to the Bosnian parliament building, they were joined by thousands more, all chanting the same message, “mizmo za mir” (“we are for peace”). The protest continued well into the night and into Monday morning, April the 6th, with over 100000 people pleading for a peaceful resolution to the crisis. One group broke away from the main crowd and marched south down Vrbanja Street, with the hope of peacefully removing the barricades that had been erected on Vrbanja Bridge. VIII OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES FINAL REPORT page 103f www.la84foundation.org The Olympic Jumping Hill at Squaw Valley was designed by Heini Klopfer of Oberstdorf, Germany, who is the foremost authority in the world on design. Klopfer designed the hill in the spring of 1957. The contract was awarded by the California Olympic Commission to Diversified Builders that Fall, and clearing of trees began immediately. The actual building began in the summer of 1958, and was completed in the Fall. After it was completed, Klopfer returned for an inspection trip. Klopfer had the highest praise for the construction of the Jumping Hill, which was located in the heart of the entire Olympic competition area, directly opposite the Blyth Memorial Arena on Little Papoose Peak. It is the only jumping facility in Olympic history to have three jumps—the 40, 60, and 80-meter jumps—all on the same hill. Klopfer called Little Papoose Peak “the type of area one always seeks but seldom finds.” Tall trees on both sides of the hills gave the jumpers good protection from the wind. The sun also was at the backs of the jumpers during the competitions. The facility was built so that the start and the judges’ tower could be reached either by walking up a stairway on the right hand side, or by riding to the first unloading station on the Little Papoose Peak double chair lift and walking down from there. I think this is one of their most underrated songs from their album. When i think of this song i get a visual of everybody just waving their hands freely from side to side. Its a beautiful song that definitely deserves recognition. I feel like this shows Tyler Joseph, Nick Thomas, and Chris Salih at their best. They really know how to get a crowd goin. All the footage used in this video is from a recent show at The Newport Music Hall on 10-1-10 in Columbus, Ohio. This is a video of me doing band promo at Edmonton 4:20 at the Alberta Ken Kirk doing Dr. Reefer band promo (Dr. Reefer was #1 on the Reverb Nation Alternative music “What’s Hot” charts) at our annual 4:20 on April 20th at the Legislative Grounds in Edmonton Alberta Canada (attendance was 6000-7000 according to the CBC). Take a look at the crowd at the bottom of the hill through the pine trees through the video. THE BOTTOM OF THE LEG GROUNDS IS PACKED! The amazing fog of pot smoke at 4:20 was intense! I was so proud of the Edmonton cannabis community! The kids flash mobbed it, in the past we were lucky to get hundreds out to a rally.
